Today was an okay day. We had a substitute named Mrs.Pheifer again. For morning work we had a number placement worksheet and a measurement worksheet. The number placement worksheet was okay because we had to color and I don't like coloring. I didn't get to the other worksheet so I don't know if I would like it or not.
After morning work we did lit circles. our assignment was to read chapters 15-21. We have jobs to do and mine was the discussion director. I had to write questions that cannot be found in the book and we have to discuss it with our group.
After lit circles we celebrated Colin's B-day. He brought chocolate cupcakes and vanilla. I got a chocolate one. The cupcakes were very delicious. Before we ate our cupcakes we sang happy birthday. first we ding it in a whisper but when we say his name we get to scream as loud as we want. I screamed so loud that my throat hurt but it was fun.
After we celebrated Colin's birthday we did math. We did questions out of the book with partners. I worked with Cami. Every one that we got right we got a coupon. I got 25 coupons.
After math we had band/study hall. I'm in study hall. In study hall I did my D.O.L and finished my D's. After study hall I washed my hands to go to lunch. I had a sandwich and cantelope. My lunch was not the best lunch, but it was still good.
After lunch we went to recess. at recess I played 4 square. After recess we went inside. When our teacher was coming up the stairs Dylan sat in a moon chair by a table that had a lamp and a frog in a fish bowl on it. When he sat down it shook the table and the lamp started to spark and then it caught on fire but when the teacher came in the room it went away. Everyone was scared to death. Since it smelled so bad in the classroom we graded our D.O.L out in the forum.
After we did D.O.L we did estimation jar. Riley put mini M&Ms in the jar. We did mean, median, mode, and range on what everybody's guess on how many M&Ms were in the jar. After we did mean, median, mode, and range we figured out how many M&Ms we all would get. We didn't have time counting because we had to go to Spanish. In Spanish we finished our song we had do do that as in Spanish. The song that we did was a song about what we liked and so we took a picture of what we liked.
When we got back from Spanish we went to a play about pirates. They were singing so fast that I could not understand them and they only showed us two scenes. The funniest part about the play was at the end of it. One kid was standing on the other side of the curtain and the curtains closed. He could not et in so he had to run to the middle of the curtain.
When we got back from the play we went upstairs and got our stuff. Then we had an extra recess. At recess I played 4 square. 4 square was fun because I was queen a lot. After recess we went into the gym to go home.
